I am a PhD candidate in Political Science with a focus in Law, Politics, and Society and Political Science Research Methods. My research focuses on social movements and their relationship to law. Of particular interest is the examination of how social movements on opposite sides of the political spectrum deploy rights claims in the social and legal contexts, and the extent to which intersectional considerations impact the strategies in using these claims. Beyond that, I am broadly interested in text-as-data methods, LGBTQ+ law and politics, and inequalities in the law.
