We seek enthusiastic undergraduate students to serve as Teaching Assistants for Physics 281 in Spring 2025. Responsibilities include attending class meetings, interacting with and assisting students in class and holding help sessions to support students with course material and assignments. Prerequisites include a good working knowledge of Python, and the successful completion of Physics 281 or the equivalent in a prior semester.
TAs must be available to help students Mon/Wed 9:00am - 11:00 am for Section 01, or Tues/Thurs 9:00 - 11:00 am for Section 02. In addition, TAs will need to set aside 1 hour/week for a help session, and another 30 minutes for a planning meeting with the instructor and other TAs, for a total of 5 - 6 hours per week. The salary for this position will be the current departmental hourly rate for undergraduate employees.
