Fundamental Interactions Theory
We are a group of faculty members whose research spans a continuum from the nuclear/particle border through Standard Model physics and new phenomena beyond the Standard Model into theoretical cosmology and classical and quantum gravitational physics. We enjoy this breadth because it means that a wide range of interesting physics is being discussed locally. Our students tend to work collaboratively with more than one faculty member over the course of their studies, and this helps to provide a broader education.
