My research focuses on the development of scalable, ultrafast quantum information processing systems in nanophotonics at room temperature, with applications in universal fault-tolerant quantum computation, all-optical quantum-secured networks, quantum-enhanced sensing and spectroscopy, and quantum simulation. To achieve my research goals, I employ tools from quantum optics, quantum information science, and nanophotonic engineering.

New to UMass Amherst in January 2024 from Caltech where I was a postdoctoral scholar working in optical quantum information processing. I got my Ph.D. in atomic and molecular physics from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and an Integrated BS-MS degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali, India with a thesis in physics. I enjoy climbing mountains, riding my bicycle, running long distances, and listening to Indian classical music.
