PHY-820: Nuclear Theory
Theoretical understanding of nuclear structure. Inter-nucleon forces, the deuteron and the two-body problem, nuclear models and structure of complex nuclei, electromagnetic properties of nuclei, theory of alpha and beta decay, theory of nuclear reactions. Prerequisites: Physic 615 and 719.
