PHY-590M: Medical Physics
This introduction to the field of medical physics covers the applications of physics in medicine. Topics covered include: electrical activity within the body, instrumentation, interactions of photons and charged particles with tissue, imaging techniques (ultrasound, CT and MRI), and cancer (causes, techniques of detection and treatment).
