The Journal of the History of Philosophy has announced that Julia Jorati, professor of philosophy at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, is the winner of its 2025 Book Prize.
Professor Jorati was awarded the prize for her book, Slavery and Race: Philosophical Debates in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries (Oxford University Press, 2024).
