I received my PhD (2015) in Philosophy from Columbia University. My current research is mainly on the interface between semantics, pragmatics, and reasoning. I focus on topics such as modals and probabilistic reasoning, the nature of implicatures, and the relation between our linguistic and logical competence. I also work on related topics in the foundations of cognitive science, including the nature of concepts and categorization and their effects on judgments and decision-making.
