Xi "Ryan" Hao (he/him)

Biographical Statement

Xi Hao graduated in 2018 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Originally from Beijing China, he attended high school in Colorado Springs, and lived there for 3 years. He prefers to be called Ryan in case Xi is hard to pronounce, and has had this name since high school. Ryan worked on using solid films formed from complex coacervates as a barrier for use in microfluidic platforms for crystallography for crystallography. Ryan likes cars and driving, listen to music, most sports, and of course computer games.

Ryan is pursuing PhD studies in Macromolecular Science and Engineering at Virginia Tech.
