Rebecca Hershman graduated in 2018 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Her research focused on understanding how proteins are encapsulated in complex coacervation. In her free time she enjoys hiking, swimming, watching hockey, and spending time with her friends.
Rebecca pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Tufts University in the group of Prof. James Van Deventer. She successfully defended her dissertation in May 2024 and is the second Perry Lab undergraduate to earn a PhD!
Rebecca is a scientist working at the Institute for Protein Innovation.
