Erin Baker, PEP Steering Committee Member, will moderate a panel on Wednesday, April 21, for the Woodrow Wilson Center and Smithsonian. The panel entitled “Offshore Energy: Favorable Winds for Renewables?” runs from 10 to 11 a.m. Baker will moderate a panel of experts discussing offshore wind as a part of the Wilson Center’s Earth Week events in conjunction with the Smithsonian Conservation Common’s Earth Optimism Initiative. The experts include Bill White, head of U.S. offshore wind for Avangard Renewables; Damian Bednarz, external affairs director for EnBW; and Matt Morrissey, head of market affairs and strategy for Ørsted Offshore North America. The panel will be introduced by Daniel S. Hamilton, director of the Global Europe Program for the Wilson Center and Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Distinguished Fellow.
