The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences invites you to attend our
SENIOR CELEBRATION GRADUATION LUNCHEON
to celebrate our psychology graduates with families and friends!
Worcester Dining Commons
We cordially invite you and your family to join Psychological and Brain Sciences faculty and staff for a luncheon to honor and celebrate your graduation! We will enjoy a catered buffet-style meal (gluten free and vegetarian options will be available) and present you with a special gift. The chair of the department will share brief remarks highlighting the accomplishments of our Psychology students before you leave UMASS and make your way in the world. We hope that you and your family will be able to attend. We are very proud of you!
Please register early because space is limited.
The luncheon will be held May 9th, 2020 @ 11:30am in Worcester Dining Commons (Hillside Room via the rear entrance), immediately following CNS Graduation.
The chair of the department will share brief remarks celebrating our graduates around 11:45.
During the luncheon, we will present a slideshow sharing photos of our graduates; one slide will be dedicated to each attending senior.
You can submit your photo through the registration link. You can also share your post-graduation plans and well wishes for your peers.
The maximum number of luncheon attendees, including the student, is 10.
The first 4 attendees, including the graduate, are free. For extra attendees above 4, there is an additional fee: $15/adult, $10/child ages 5-10, and <5 are free.
Follow the link to complete registration and payment for additional guests.
Please contact Dr. Christina Metevier email@example.com if you are having trouble with the form, if you have more than 10 guests, or if you have any questions.
Please do not get this event confused with the other events taking place.
• The University Commencement: Friday, May 8, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm in Warren McGuirk Stadium
• The College of Natural Sciences Senior Celebration: Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am Mullins Center
If you are unable to attend the reception, please accept the department’s congratulatory wishes!
Customize your CNS Graduation Ceremony! Request Faculty to join you at the celebration and apply to be selected as the PBS student speaker!
At the CNS Graduation Celebration at the Mullins Center on Saturday May 9, you will be called by name to walk across the stage and receive a CNS medallion, while your image is projected on a jumbo screen for your family and friends! Before the students walk across the stage, each department in the college will be represented by one student who will give a brief "chirp" (a brief witty speech) about the discipline, his/her/their experiences in the department, and/or his/her/their wishes for the graduating class.
To help personalize this event, you can nominate a faculty member to join you at the celebration and you can submit a sample "chirp" (brief witty speech) for your chance to represent the psychology graduates at the celebration.
