PCAR Sends Radar to Lamont
Members from the UMass Paros Center for Atmospheric Research continue their collaboration with researchers at the Lamont Observatory on hurricane genesis detection with X-band radars. In August 2024, a mobile UMass X-band radar was delivered to the observatory, where Lamont researchers will mount it on a building for local testing and data collection.
