UMass Amherst Parents Association (UMAPA)

All parents and families of undergraduate students are members of the UMass Amherst Parents Association (UMAPA) and there is no charge for being a member.

The UMAPA helps build the connection between UMass families and the campus community. All members receive our Parents Association Calendar and Handbook at the start of the Fall semester.

We also hope to increase family involvement on campus by expanding opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy.

We are excited about our Parents Association and look forward to working with you over the coming years. We hope you'll enjoy the benefits of our membership while exploring the Pioneer Valley!

Mission Statement

UMass Amherst Parents Association was created to strengthen the partnership between UMass and the parents and family members of our undergraduate students. The mission of  UMAPA is to provide support and information to the parents and guardians of UMass undergraduate students to help ensure a positive and successful campus experience.
