Muslim Resources at UMass Amherst

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) is one of our most active and outstanding registered student organizations. MSA offers a wide array of religious, cultural, educational, and social programs. Members of MSA lead Jummah prayers on Friday afternoons, and the group has also collaborated with the University's Food Services to provide Hallal meat at the Worcester Dining Commons.

For more information, visit the MSA website or the group's page on Campus Pulse; or contact MSA via email.

Hampshire Mosque
Muslim students, staff, faculty, and all residents or guests in the Five College area, are also welcome to visit the Hampshire Mosque. Hampshire Mosque was established in Ramadan 2004. The mosque is the focal point for the region’s Muslim community, providing space for daily and Friday prayers, hosting Ramadan iftars (breaking of the fast) and tarawih prayers, and offering lectures and other outreach to the wider Amherst and Pioneer Valley community. Visit Hampshire Mosque's website for up-to-date information about their location and activities.
