Here is OEB faculty member Dr. Steve McCormick, a fisheries biologist who is the "fish guy" on the faculty for the UMass Tropical Field Biology class BIOL-487h. In 2014 the field portion of the class took place in southern Belize at the Belize Foundation for Research and Environmental Education (BFREE, www.bfreebz.org), and this photo shows Steve practicing his own photographic skills during the 6-mile hike out to the highway. There were no fish in the area, so Steve had to make do with what he had.
