Slack Channels
Slack is a great tool for remote communication. There are multiple Slack “Workspaces” that some OEB students are a part of including OEB grad students, the Biology Department, the OEB R Working Group, the Bioinformatics Working Group, GEO Members, the Alt-Ac Working Group (Alternative to Academia careers, organized by OPD), and others. Some lab groups also use Slack. Reach out to your OEB mentor or the Mentoring Committee to ask about joining any of these Slack Workspaces.
