Imagine exploring college while you explore the world. The Exploratory Pathways Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst lets you start college as a part-time online student and position yourself for a degree that's perfect for you.

Choosing your degree path

We know that one size doesn’t fit all.  Let us help you explore which degree pathway is right for you.  Do you want to study business, sustainability, sociology?  Or maybe build your own degree with an interdisciplinary studies major.  One of our dedicated advisors will work with you to determine which degree pathway is right for you.  In the first year, you will focus on completing general education requirements and first year major requirements.  Within two years, you'll declare which degree is right for you and be that much closer to completing your bachelor's degree.
