This course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the language of medicine beginning with analysis of terminology and the relationship of terms to related anatomy and physiology. The content will progress to understanding of terms in relation to health and disease, with applications to all aspects of patient care: diagnostics, treatment, documentation, and collaboration with other members of the health care team.
