An introduction to human anatomy and physiology, including some new insights into the workings of the human brain. The course is an overview of the function and structure of the major body systems -- nervous, muscular, skeletal, circulatory, digestive, etc.-- including new discoveries about the role that cellular and chemical changes in the brain play in memory, emotion and mental illness. Primarily for non-science students. (Gen.Ed. BS)
