- Help you prepare for difficult conversations
- Help open avenues of communication
- Suggest resources and make referrals
- Help you navigate campus bureaucracy
- Help you understand University policies and procedures
- Coach you in how to approach and resolve differences
- Provide informal conflict resolution services such as facilitated conversations
- Track patterns of conflict or fairness challenges on campus
- Suggest strategies for addressing systemic issues
We don’t:
- Take sides or decide who is right/wrong in a conflict or concern
- Maintain or provide records that identify you
- Take the place of formal processes such as grievances or complaints
- Participate in formal procedures on or off campus
- Conduct or participate in formal investigations
- Provide legal advice or psychological counseling
- Revise or rescind existing policies, regulations, or laws
- Serve as an office of notice for the University
