Program overview

The Good Neighbor Grant Program is the newest initiative from the Off Campus Student Center. We want to foster a more connected, cooperative community in which students and residents thrive. If you have an idea for bringing the community together, we want to hear it! Here's how it works:

• A group of UMass Amherst students, or a collaborative group of students and non-student Amherst residents living in proximity to one another dream up and agree upon by an idea that contributes to the betterment of the neighborhood for all.
• A member of the Off Campus Student Center staff will reach out to you within five business days to discuss your proposal and offer feedback.
• If accepted, the Off Campus Student Center will provide agreed upon financial assistance up to $500 to help make your concept a reality, as well as provide logistical support.

• Small-scale and manageable
• Possible to complete for $500 or less
• Creative, fun, and meaningful
