While located in Academic Affairs, OAPA contributes to University-wide assessment and evaluation priorities in a number of ways. We provide consultation and conduct surveys for a number of units outside of Academic Affairs, including, most recently, UMass Dining and Development & Alumni Relations (see Survey and Evaluation Research for more information).

In addition, much of the evidence we are responsible for supports and informs campus-wide Strategic Planning efforts. And, most recently, OAPA provided survey research design and climate research expertise for the University-wide Campus Climate Survey. We administered the online survey to all undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, and faculty; contributed substantially to the production of the Abridged Report; and produced the quantitative data analysis sections of the four forthcoming population-specific reports.
