Although both the annual Senior Survey and triennial NSSE Survey offer data points pertaining to undergraduates’ experiences with academic advising, ASER periodically conducts studies that investigate students’ advising experiences more comprehensively.  These efforts include surveys of first-year students in 2003 and 2007, a survey of first-and second-year students in 2016, and inclusion of the optional Academic Advising module for the 2017 administration of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
