The Nutrition department (Year Three) is addressing the TEval goals as follows.
To date, the Nutrition department is currently meeting with all faculty to discuss the existing teaching evaluation policy and culture. To facilitate discussion, the evaluation policy has been posted to BOX for faculty comment. The department is leading ongoing discussion with faculty on ways to include graduate students, with the goal of improving their teaching experience.
There is continued discussion by faculty who have already participated in teaching related efforts within the department. Next steps include scheduling pairs of faculty to carry out peer evaluation on one another and refining policy and teaching evaluation tools for both faculty and graduate students. Over the summer Nutrition plans to all syllabi and class content.
