Class Notes

Winter 2019

  • Brenda (Boguslawski) Fionte ’15 married the man of her dreams, Paul Fionte ’15 (Biology major)! Congratulations to the happy newlyweds! Brenda has worked in the Telementary Unit in Cooley Dickinson Hospital for the past three years.
  • Kelsey Brenner ’17 works at Maxim Home Health Services and was awarded Caregiver of the Month in June! She is passionate about developing plans for patients with medical complexities.
  • Lisa Barbosa-Angles ’18 connected with Kaye Bemis ’01 at our May Night Shift Brewing Networking Event, which resulted in Lisa growing her nursing career at Boston Medical Center! 

Summer 2019

  • Nicole (Gauther) Croteau '97 is the Director of Nursing for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Westborough, MA. She says that she feels like it was just yesterday when she graduated.
  • Jean Swinney, Former Dean is retiring after 23 years of service to the College of Nursing. We thank Dr. Swinney for all she has done for our College. Dr. Swinney is celebrating retirement by going on a cruise with her sister!
  • Donna Zucker G'90 is retiring after 25 years of service to the College of Nursing. We thank Dr. Zucker as an alumna and for all of her contributions to our College and hope that she enjoys retirement - it is well deserved!

Winter 2019 

  • Stephanie (Tache) Benevento ’97 is a Critical Care Rapid Response Nurse at Partners North Shore Medical Center Salem Hospital.
  • Diane (Dufour) Brumley ’78 worked in general pediatric health for several years and became a Nurse Practitioner at the Medical University of South Carolina for 26 years. She is now happily retired and enjoying married life!
  • Kristin (Meyer) Egan ’91 has been working at Massachusetts General Hospital for 29 years when she began working as a student nurse there. Since 1996, she has worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
