Favorite thing about being a UMass Amherst Student: Opportunities to engage with and learn from cooperative student businesses.
Most interesting thing you’ve done or place you’ve been as part of your UMass experience: Working with community organizations in Worcester during an alternative spring break!
Any words of advice for new students?: Something that really helped me when I was a first year was taking full advantage of the resources available to me (Center for Counseling & Psychological Health, Center for Education, Policy & Advocacy, Center for Multicultural Advancement and Student Success, etc.). They all helped me to find my niche on campus and to successfully navigate my first year as a UMass student.
Interests/Hobbies/Spare Time Activities: Community organizing, social justice work, student activism, student government, residential life, poetry and artistic avenues.
