Discounted CSA shares will be available for UMass community members to purchase before May 1.

Program participants, alumni and state officials recently gathered at UMass Amherst for a a two-day event that featured a fireside chat, dinner and workshop to inspire careers in policy, politics and public leadership.

Professor Erica Scharrer and her doctoral students arranged for sixth graders to meet virtually with Sen. Edward Markey to discuss a proposed law that would strengthen online protections for children and teenagers.

Founders Day 2024 promises to be the most ambitious yet with more than 30 activities, tours, musical performances and open houses – as well as the traditional Campus Cookout.

The Office of News and Media Relations works closely with journalists and the campus community to tell the UMass Amherst story. We gather and promote newsworthy developments about the achievements of faculty, staff and students; the university's programs and policies; research discoveries; and community outreach efforts. 

Our team provides a variety of services: news releases, social media, video, photography, Inside UMass newsletter, crisis communication and reputation management, promotion of faculty expertise, and interview preparation. We are part of University Relations, which promotes UMass Amherst to all our varied audiences, both internal and external.
