Emergency closing and snow-related policies are being distributed this week to all faculty, staff and students. As winter approaches, all members of the campus community should know how to obtain information related to severe weather, including closing announcements, parking rules, staggered departure procedures for early closings, related time and attendance policies and the rescheduling of final exams on snow days.
Landscape Management’s annual Holiday Plant Sale will take place on Friday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Campus Center Concourse. Choose from a variety of blooming and green plants. Selection includes: succulents, holiday cactus, canna lilies, hanging plants and much more.
As part of the Building Bridges initiative, Enobong (Anna) Branch and Joseph Krupczynski will hold a discussion on the origins and impact of the project on Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. at the University Museum of Contemporary Art in the Fine Arts Center. The two will delve into how Building Bridges helps affirm the importance of respecting difference in the campus community, what the future holds for this initiative, and other climate improvement projects on campus.
