Whitbourne Elected to APA’s Board of Educational Affairs

Psychology professor Susan Krauss Whitbourne has been elected to a three-year term on the American Psychological Association’s Board of Educational Affairs.

The 12-member panel, according to the APA, has “general concern for education and training affairs which transcend more than one division or group of psychologists.”

The board recommends education policy for the association to the board of directors and serves a consultative and advisory role with respect to ongoing planning and operations of APA Education Directorate. The panel is also charged with ensuring the importance and commitment to diversity in education and training in all of its activities and initiatives.

Whitbourne will serve until 2016.
