Volunteers Sought for Research Studies on Women's Health

Researchers in kinesiology are seeking volunteers for their studies on the biomechanical movement of women.

Prospective participants must meet the following criteria:

• Be female
• Age 25-45 years
• Be in good general health with a BMI less than 30 kg/m2
• Have no history of major lower extremity surgery, injury or current joint pain

Participants will be asked to complete one visit to the lab, where they will be asked to stand, walk, and run for short bouts, while activity of muscles is measured. They will also be asked to complete questionnaires about general health. The study will take about 2 hours to complete.

Women with children between one and five years old, who carried to full term (37 to 42 weeks) without complications and who meet the above criteria are also sought for a similar study.
