David Vaillancourt, senior associate dean of students since 2013, has been named associate vice chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Life by Vice Chancellor Enku Gelaye.
He will have specific responsibility for Residential Life operations, Center for Early Education and Care, Center for Health Promotion and student affairs technology services. His portfolio will also include strategic and organizational planning and new initiatives, said Gelaye.
Vaillancourt joined the campus staff in 1999 as associate director of residential life for assignments and administration.
He holds a Ph.D. in higher education from Bowling Green State University.
