UMass Amherst Featured in ‘Colleges That Pay You Back’ Guide from Princeton Review

Coleges That Pay You Back

AMHERST, Mass. – For a second straight year, the University of Massachusetts Amherst is included in “Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck,” released Jan. 31 by The Princeton Review.

In the annual guide, the education services company lists those colleges that are considered the nation’s best for academics, affordability and financial aid, and for getting their graduates connected to satisfying and rewarding careers.

The Princeton Review selected the schools based on a comprehensive analysis of more than 650 colleges that weighted more than 40 data points to tally return on investment (ROI) ratings for the schools. Data analyzed covered academics, cost, financial aid, graduation rates, student debt, alumni salaries and job satisfaction. The company collected the data from its 2015-16 surveys of administrators and students at the schools. It also factored in data from collected through April 2016 on starting and mid-career salaries of alumni of the schools.
