UMass Amherst is hosting a Career Fashion Show and Career Clothing Sale, which will kick off with students modeling different types of career appropriate clothing. UMass staff and representatives from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Men’s Warehouse and Hannoush Jewelers will provide fashion tips on how to make the most out of clothing and accessories.

The Fashion Show will illustrate how to dress for success, says Rebecca Bell, assistant director for career planning at UMass Amherst Career Services. She says, “We want to help students feel confident in their fashion choices as they embark on their careers. Students will have an opportunity to win raffles and gift cards in a fun, interactive environment.”

Following the fashion show, students will be able to browse through different types of lightly used professional clothing and accessories at the Career Clothing Sale in Goodell Hall’s 5th floor center lounge. Stylish business clothing, donated by campus faculty and staff, will be available for purchase at discounted prices. All proceeds of the sale will benefit the Sustainability Innovation and Engagement Fund, which supports campus sustainability ideas from students, faculty and staff.
