School of Public Policy Hosts Student Workshop Conference

Students enrolled in the School of Public Policy’s Workshop in Public Policy course, taught by professor Marta Vicarelli, will present their work at a virtual conference on Thursday, May 6, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. 

In the course, student teams are matched with external clients to work on issues related to policy and economic analysis

This year's workshop projects: 

  • Socio-economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Massachusetts Municipalities
  • Ecosystem-based Adaptation and Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction
  • LGBTQrowd: A Crowd-funding Platform Connecting Donors and Lenders to Projects to Create Economic Opportunities for Low-income LGBTI People

The Workshop Conference is open to members of the UMass Amherst community. Registration is required.
