Members of the campus’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA) community and allies will be recognized at the 16th annual Rainbow Graduation and LGBTQIA & Allies Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 1 from 7-8 p.m., in the Amherst Room on the 10th floor of the Campus Center.
The keynote speaker will be Kye Allums, the first “out” trans person to play NCAA Division I athletics as a member of the George Washington University women’s basketball team. Allums is now a transgender advocate, public speaker and mentor to LGBT youth through Project I Am Enough.
