HOLYOKE, Mass. – A panel discussion, “Feeding the Computer Science/IT Pipeline: Short and Long Range Solutions,” will be presented Wednesday, June 4 at 3:30 p.m. in 301 Kittredge Center at Holyoke Community College. The event is sponsored by the Pioneer Valley STEM Network and UMass STEM ED.
Panelists will include Jason Pacheco of Baystate Health, Josh Finkel of Tech Foundry, Audrey St. John of Mount Holyoke College, Renee Fall of the Commonwealth Alliance for Information Technology Education (CAITE), and John Heffernan of the Williamsburg Elementary School. Each will present their perspectives on solutions to the IT workforce shortage.
The symposium, which is a follow-up to a computer workforce symposium held in February, is recommended for all policymakers and interested professionals in K-16 education, workforce training, business and non-profits.
