Panel to Discuss ‘Environmental Journalism in the Age of Trump’

Writers and editors from the global conservation news service, which has been publishing since 1999 and reaches 2 million readers per month in nine languages, will discuss new challenges facing the environment and journalism under the Trump administration on Thursday, March 23 at 4 p.m. in the Howard M. Ziff Gallery, S414 Integrative Learning Center.

In a program called “The Changing Landscape: Environmental Journalism in the Age of Trump,” the panelists will also share how they developed careers covering this important beat and discuss how they see the landscape changing during this pivotal period and the role of nonprofit and entrepreneurial journalism in 2017 and beyond.

The panelists are Rebecca Kessler, contributing editor; Glenn Scherer, contributing editor; Mike Gaworecki, staff writer and editor; and Erik Hoffner, editor and content strategist.

The program was postponed from a February date because of inclement weather.
