Obituary: Ronald Perrault, Retired Dining Services Manager

Ronald C. Perrault, 76, of Southampton, a retired manager in dining services, died Dec. 21.

Born Dec. 14, 1941 in Chicopee, he was a 27-year veteran of the Air Force Reserve, retiring in 2001 from Westover Air Reserve Base with the rank of chief master sergeant. Previously, he had served seven years with the Army National Guard.

He joined UMass Amherst in 1979 as an assistant dining commons manager and later was a staff assistant in the Campus Center. He retired as a manager in the Hatch Café in 2002.

He is survived by Ann, his wife of 54 years; daughters Kim Thomann and her husband Gary, Michelle Otis and her husband Jeffery, and Jennifer Glenowicz and her partner Daniel Cronin; his brother David Perrault and his wife Irasema; and his sister-in-law Diane Guyer and her husband Edward.

Memorial donations may be sent to Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, or the Air Force Aid Society, Westover.
