Bruce Mougin, 68, of Cummington, a retired programmer and systems analyst, died Sept. 15.
Born in Springfield, Oct. 12, 1948, he earned an associate degree from Springfield Technical Community and a bachelor’s in business at Nathaniel Hawthorne College in New Hampshire.
He was a Navy veteran and served on the cemetery committee and zoning board in Cummington.
He joined the data processing center as computer operator in 1973 and became a programmer in 1978. He retired in 2004.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole Litchfield of Cummington; his brother Laurence “Skip” Mougin of Hinsdale, New Hampshire; and his former wife Donna Thackeray of Winchester, New York.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m.-noon at Drozdal Funeral Home, 120 Damon Road, Northampton, followed immediately by a memorial service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
