The Office of Research and Engagement is hosting its inaugural “UMass VIZ” event on Friday, May 3, at 9 a.m. in the John W. Olver Design Building, room 170.
UMass VIZ aims to increase awareness of visual communications concepts, help hone skills and share resources to improve how we present our ideas and findings to the world.
Talks given by faculty members at the event will include topics such as design fundamentals, effective imagery in science communication and data visualization.
All members of the campus community are welcome and should register for the event here.
