The 29th annual Harvest Crafts Fair and Children’s Festival is being held Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Amherst Town Common.
The free event benefits the Amherst Family Center, a free, drop-in program providing play groups, parent education and support to families of young children. The Amherst Family Center is a program of the UMass Amherst Office of Family Resources and a partner agency of the Hampshire County United Way.
There will be artisan craft booths featuring clothing, fiber, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, quilts, textiles, toys and wool.
At the children’s festival there will be hay rides, pony rides, games, baby scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a jumpy castle, pre-school avenue, cider making and an obstacle course.
There will also be live entertainment all day.
