Harper Presents Research at Conference in Marseille

Associate professor Krista Harper of anthropology and public policy presented her latest research at a conference on “Value and values in agro-food processes” held June 10-12 at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), in Marseille, France.  

Harper gave a presentation on urban gardening mobilizations and policies in Lisbon, Portugal, with her co-researcher, professor Ana Isabel Afonso of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

The conference was co-organized by the EHESS Centre Norbert Elias and by anthropologists from the University of Barcelona who are international partners in the “Culture and Heritage in European Societies and Spaces” funded with an international research and training grant from the National Science Foundation.
