Flags Lowered for World War II Airman

Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered the United States and Commonwealth flags lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset at all state buildings on Thursday, Aug. 2, the day of interment, in honor of T/Sgt. John F. Brady, who was killed in action on Nov. 2, 1944 when his B-17 was shot down by German fighter pilots over Merseburg, Germany. He will be laid to rest in Saint Francis Old Cemetery in Taunton.
