The Kathryn F. Furcolo Award for Outstanding Internships has been given to seniors Sean McGrath of North Andover and Ellen Porell of Fitchburg and fall 2013 graduate Chinelo Obiudu of Worcester. Since 1965, the Furcolo Award has recognized selected students who complete an outstanding internship in either public service or government.
Mackenzie Consoer, a second-year doctoral student in the department of environmental conservation, has been selected for the Edith Robinson Fellowship by the Graduate School. The one-year award will provide Consoer with a full tuition scholarship and a stipend totaling more than $26,000.
