The Libraries have announced the launch of “Translat Library,” a new journal based at UMass and published through ScholarWorks@UMassAmherst in collaboration with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain.
The Fine Arts Center will host Circa Contemporary Circus in the Concert Hall for an open rehearsal on Monday, Oct. 28 from 10:30 a.m. until noon. UMass students, faculty and staff are exclusively invited to the rehearsal. Admission is complimentary and tickets are not required.
College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) doctoral students Abhinav Jangda and Donald Pinckney, along with professors Arjun Guha and Yuriy Brun, have received an Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Programming Languages (SIGPLAN) 2019 Distinguished Paper Award.
