On Tuesday, Feb. 26, the department of music and dance will present the inaugural Dance Science Symposium from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Hasbrouck Hall, Room 20. The free event will bring together dancers and dance scientists to discuss critical and emerging research within the field of dance science and medicine.
Marty Norden, professor of communication, has just published an anthology on Lois Weber, one of the film world's first great screenwriter-directors. The book contains more than 60 primary documents, including interviews with Weber, newspaper articles that she wrote and the text of a speech she gave.
