Volunteers with Tibiofemoral Knee Osteoarthritis Needed for Study
The Advanced Human and Health Analytics Laboratory is looking for volunteers with mild to moderate tibiofemoral knee osteoarthritis (OA) to participate in a research study. Volunteers should be aged 20 to 60 years and diagnosed with OA by a qualified physician. They should experience no cognitive impairments which would affect their ability to understand instructions or perform motor tasks independently.
The study will take place in the Institute for Applied Life Sciences and participants will be asked to attend two sessions, each lasting approximately three hours. This is a non-invasive study in which you will be asked to wear a smart flex sensor and smart insole and will be instructed to perform a series of motor tasks. If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more about the study, please contact Advanced Human and Health Analytics Laboratory researchers at (413) 545-3968.
