Search Panels Named for Isenberg, Engineering Deans and FAC Director
Provost John McCarthy has announced the formation of search committees to fill vacancies in three Academic Affairs leadership positions.
The search committee to replace Mark Fuller, who has moved from dean of the Isenberg School of Management to vice chancellor for advancement and alumni relations, is co-chaired by Laura Haas, dean of the College of Information and Computer Sciences and Senior Vice Provost Carol Barr. Search committee members include Christopher Agoglia, professor, accounting; Michael Ash, professor, economics; Albert Assaf, associate professor, hospitality and tourism management; Cynthia Barstow, lecturer, marketing; Traci Hess, professor, operations and information management; Mzamo Mangaliso, associate professor, management; Elizabeth Miller, associate professor, marketing; Mila Getmansky Sherman, associate professor, finance; Nefertiti Walker, associate professor, sport management; Nathaniel Easton, Graduate Student Senate (GSS) representative, and Victoria Ishola, Student Government Association (SGA) representative.
Another search committee has been named to replace Willie Hill, who will retire as director of the Fine Arts Center in February. The panel is chaired by Julie Hayes, dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Search committee members are Paul Dennis, associate professor, dance; Shawn Farley, Fine Arts Center marketing and development director; Lynn Griesemer, former Fine Arts Center board member; Farshid Hajir, senior vice provost; Gilbert McCauley, professor, theater; Tony Maroulis, Fine Arts Center board chair and executive director of external relations and university events; Terry Peters, Fine Arts Center board member, and Loretta Yarlow, director, University Museum of Contemporary Art.
The third search committee will identify a successor to Timothy Anderson, who is stepping down as dean of the College of Engineering. The committee is co-chaired by Tricia Serio, dean of the College of Natural Sciences, and Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement Michael Malone. Committee members are Neal Anderson, professor, electrical and computer engineering (ECE); Michelle Budig, vice provost for faculty development; Caitlyn Butler, associate professor, civil and environmental engineering (CEE); Tammy Haut Donahue, department head, biomedical engineering; Lixin Gao, professor, ECE; Michael Henson, professor, chemical engineering; Ana Muriel, associate professor, mechanical and industrial engineering (MIE); Richard Palmer, department head, CEE; Shelly Peyton, associate professor, chemical engineering; Shannon Roberts, assistant professor, MIE; Paul Siqueira, professor, ECE; Alyssa Ryan, GSS representative, and Nicholas Flanagan, SGA representative.
