Office of Equity and Inclusion to Hold Virtual Office Hour on Recent Zoom Disruptions

The Office of Equity and Inclusion will be holding an online session open to members of the UMass community to discuss the recent spate of Zoom disruptions in classrooms, meetings and other virtual spaces. These disruptions have included a number of racist, misogynistic and other attacks. The session will take place on Friday, May 1 from 9 to 10 a.m.

The OEI staff will be available to speak to you about your concerns and challenges as these new forms of disruptions have caused stress and harm within our community. They will also answer questions and have a discussion on creating inclusive and safe virtual spaces.
